Had a pretty big week last week. Having a few easy assignments during the week gave me lots of time for ST PATS!
DK was all St Pats themed, and then Saturday on the ‘real’ St Pats day, the dorm went out again. Pre-drinks (pres.) were at Green Dorm (for some unknown reason) and everyone was getting pretty sloshed, drinking games were going all round. Wizards staves and minesweeper were going off most of the night. I managed to whip out my camera at some interesting points of the night. Someone had made a stupid bet and lost, so he had to run through the party naked. I got a sick photo of that, but that may be a bit inappropriate >:)
Starting the night off with the greenest of drinks we could find, absinthe is always the best choice. So we did a bit of pre-pre drinking in our dorm, then headed down to green, as did all the other dorms (that’s, like, two hundred people guys). Red Frog came down and helped everyone out with free red frogs and pancakes (for people who don’t know who that is, they are the people that make sure everything is safe and people aren’t getting too drunk and stuff). After a very long pre-drinking session,
everyone jumped in taxis and went out to the Ox for the rest of the night. On St Pats day, we went to Jack Dugan’s Irish pub for a few brews and then headed to the Ox. There were so many people there and I had an awesome night. I met up with some of my dormies Hayleigh and Laura (sorry, they’re too awesome not to mention XD).
Games in the dorm at the moment? Assassins! We all get a plastic knife (well, in our case it was a spoon) with people in our dorms name on it, we have to be alone with them, not in the bathroom and we have to strike quick and ‘kill’ them. Then they give us their spoon and you have to ‘kill’ the person on your new spoon. I have a few spoons at the moment and I nearly got assassinated the other day BUT I WAS TOO QUICK!!!!!!! But they will have other chances.
