The Finest of Fine!
80′s Prom is one of Uni life’s biggest events of the term. Everyone goes out and finds some closes from the 80′s or just generally mis-coloured and unfitted clothes. Myself, wearing a bottle green suit with an orange under shirt stunned the ladies! We all started at 7pm with a dorm dinner, where everyone drank and ate as much as they could before then we gave our ‘dates’ presents. After the presents, everyone got to have photos in the ‘Barbie Box’ with their dates, which is supposed to make you look like a doll in the box. Then everyone headed o
ff to uni bar and got toasty.
I just finished all of my assignments that I had to do, well most of them at least. For all you paramedic and/or nursing students, get ready for a lot of in-class assessments and hands on assessments. I just did my NABS (Nursing Assessment By Simulation) which allows me to go on placement in June, and I also just did my Managing Airways assessment, and its safe to say, the airway was managed. 
Everyone else in Nursing goes on placement in May, but there were too many people going to too few places so some ‘lucky’ people get to do it in June.
In Bio-Medical Science, we did SO much, in just two hours we looked at the structure and the works of the eye AND the ear (and they may be small guys, but that does not mean they are easy), we also looked at reflexes in the human body and dissected a cow’s eye (and that was just messy).
